Come
and be marooned on Crab
Island (Dawlish
Warren). Dig for the treasure, maps will
be provided, or play beach games. We can't promise a waterspout but with fair
winds, hopefully some sailing. Shelter will be provided in case of earthquakes
or inclement weather. Bring a picnic; a puncheon of grog will be provided for
thirsty explorers and treasure seekers.
Meet at Exmouth Fisheries by the Docks (turn right at the seafront at Exmouth)
at 11am. Come by train or car. Parking is available all day at the docks for
£4 (purchase from Exmouth Fisheries if the kiosk is unmanned) or on the
seafront by meter. We will be ferried across and back by friendly natives at a
charge of £4 for adults and £2 for children. For those coming from the Torbay
side, you can travel overland to Dawlish Warren (contact us for the exact
location) and meet us there.
