DUFFERS at the Headingley Literature Festival, Leeds

A play about Ransome's life is part of the Festival programme

The inaugural Headingley Literature Festival takes place later this week, running from Wednesday 12 March to Sunday 16 March 2008.

As part of the programme, Theatre of the Dales presents a double-bill of plays, one of which is entitled DUFFERS - the life of Arthur Ransome, Headingley-born author of Swallows and Amazons.

Saturday 15 March and Sunday 16 March 8pm at the Yorkshire College of Music and Drama, Shire Oak Road, Leeds Tickets priced £5/£6 are available on the door or in advance from Oxfam Books, Otley Road. Alternatively, telephone 0113 2786948 or 0113 2756652 for tickets.
