In the morning we’ll enjoy a walk on the Long Mynd near Church Stretton in Shropshire. At lunchtime we’ll gather some ten miles further south in Craven Arms to pay a visit to The Land of Lost Content, a museum which boasts ‘a million memories of the twentieth century’, to try to spot items that would have been familiar to the Swallows and Amazons, and doubtless for APs a few from our own childhoods too.
The museum is on three floors but has easy stairs with lifts. Entrance costs £5 for adults, £4.50 for senior citizens and £2.50 for children. The region will pay entrance fees for Junior TARS members.
For contact details see the January-April edition of Signals.
This is an Adventure or Discovery Event for those participating in the Junior Log Book Scheme, depending on which part of the day you attend.
